Rob Tobias joined the management team of the City of Richmond as the Executive Director of Economic Development on January 2014.  Tobias, a former Greater Houston Partnership official, brings over 20 years of economic development experience that started at the Partnership, plus some Corporate America experience with Southwestern Bell and Conoco. 

 

He has worked for both large and small cities and has a strong track record of success at attracting industry, commercial and retail to each of the communities in which he has worked.
