Lisa Regan, President 2008-2009
Thank you for visiting our website. The Rotary Club
of Richmond has 68 members and we are always looking
for new prospects that realize the importance if
giving back to their community - both the
Richmond/Fort Bend County community and our world.
As one of the 32,000 clubs and approximately 1.2
million members affiliated with Rotary
International, we strive to adhere to the Rotary
principal of "Service Above Self". We proudly award
annual scholarships to high school graduates
throughout the Lamar Consolidated School District,
provide volunteers to assist in many community
functions, and support numerous local groups who
continue to make our community a better place to
live. As part of our International Service, we
annually sponsor a Rotary Youth Exchange Student who
lives with Rotary families ands attends a LCISD high
School. This year our exchange student is a young
man from Brazil. Our primary fundraisers consist of
our exciting annual fish fry held at the George
Ranch every first Saturday in April, and selling our
famous turkey legs at the Fort Bend County Fair
every year.

meetings held every Tuesday at noon, at the Pecan
Grove Country Club. You will meet many enthusiastic
Rotarians (many you probably know), enjoy lots of

speakers, and get to determine whether the Rotary
Club of Richmond is the organization for you! If you
